The 2007 Quest for Quality award winners were selected from the results of over 6,500 survey responses submitted by qualified buyers of transportation and logistics services. The survey participants ranked the performance, value, information technology, customer service, equipment, and operations of hundreds of transportation companies. Each transportation provider was required to receive a certain number of votes to qualify for the award. Melton was ranked as the number one on-time performing carrier in the Industrial & Heavy-Haul Carriers category. Melton will receive the award at the 24th Annual Logistics Management Quest for Quality Awards banquet in Philadelphia, PA on October 24, 2007. Winning the Quest for Quality award is the second award Melton has won this year. In April, the company won the Oklahoma Governor's award for Excellence in Exporting. |
